About This Chapter
The SAE chapter at the University of West Florida is in the process of being resurrected. As it currently stands, UWF only participates in the SAE Collegiate Design Series as a senior design capstone project.

The University of West Florida SAE Baja is a team of mechanical engineering students set out with one goal in mind: to proudly represent the UWF in a competitive engineering event by besting our competition. Founded in 2017, we strive to make our mark in UWF history. ​This participation teaches not only design-build aspect of engineering, but also public speaking and technical report writing skills, valuable to our team of students to apply to their future career paths.
