UNIVERSITY OF NORTH FLORIDA

About This Chapter
Since its inception in 2010, UNF's Osprey Racing club has been a consistent contender in the Michigan competition, participating annually since 2011. The Chapters primary goal is to provide students with practical skills and experiences beyond the traditional classroom setting. However, it also is a community of students with a shared passion for engineering, innovation, and teamwork. Members of the club come from a diverse range of academic backgrounds, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and business administration. This diversity of skills and perspectives is what enables the team to design and build a cutting-edge, high-performance vehicle each year.

Our mission at Osprey Racing is to educate students through real-world, hands-on experiences. These help to set students apart to employers by providing access to resources otherwise unavailable in a classroom setting, making students more prepared to enter industry. We strive to promote a professional environment where all students are welcome and encouraged to learn, achieve measurable goals, and push the team higher with every passing year through attitude and determination.
